Modo De Tostar Semillas Y Nuezes Del Pais
(Roasting Native Nuts and Seeds)

Piñon (Pine Nuts)

Temperature: 350°F                       Roasting Time:Approximately
                                           15 minutes

Piñon                                    Water (optional)
Salt (optional)

1. Place piñon in a large container. Add salt and water,
   stir, and allow mixture to stand for 8-10 hours.
2. Drain water and allow piñon to dry thoroughly on absorbent
   towels.
3. Pladce piñon in a shallow baking pan.
4. Roast piñon in a 35o°F oven for approximately 15
   minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

Semillas De Mirasoil, Calabaza, Y Melon
(Sunflower, Pumpkin, and Melon Seeds)

Temperature: 350°                       Roasting Time: 20-30
                                           minutes

Sunflower, pumpkin, or melon                     Salt (optional)
   seeds, dried                                  Water (optional)
   
1. Wash and drain seeds.
2. Place seeds in a large container. Add salt and water, stir, and
   allow mixture to stand for 8-10 hours.
3. Drain water and allow seeds to dry thoroughly on absorbent
   towels.
4. Spread seeds in a shallow baking pan.
5. Roast seeds in a 350°F oven for 20-30 minutes, stirring
   frequently to prevent burning.
