Church at Golden

GOLDEN

Golden no more deserves the moniker "ghost town" than do any of the hundreds of other small communities that curl around the New Mexico landscape. At one time, the settlement consisted of many abandoned dwellings, but today it is a living community.  It is definitely worth seeing, especially to take in the beautiful Catholic church of San Francisco (shown above) on top of  the hill.
