131 Paseo de Pueblo Norte, Taos. just 3-4 blocks north of the plaza in Taos
Michael's Kitchen is actually a bakery and a family-style restaurant combined into one. They are known for their hearty breakfasts, but they serve lunch and dinner too. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast so I ordered a soft tortilla stuffed with a ham and cheese omelette and hash browns on the side. I was in heaven! The restaurant has a casual atmosphere with friendly servers which makes you feel at home quickly. The large variety of Mexican and American foods, served in large portions at reasonable prices, offers something for everyone. Well-known to the locals, Michael's Kitchen is a welcome rest spot after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. Parking is available on the side of the restaurant.

Very much enjoyed this restaurant. Great atmospherre, friendly service. Outstanding southwestern food, and the spiciest I had in NM. Also was good for our family with 4 kids because non-SW foods are offered and good. And the bakery items are delectable.
