Robertos, Las Cruces

Location

Somewhere on the left side of Lohman [when going south on Lohman from I-25: Lohman and Espina] By the hot tub sales place. There's only one in town!

Review

Cheap prices. Good Food. I especially like the green chile burritos. Considering the fact that I ate them every chance I got while I was there for the summer. The Tostadas Compustas was good too! And not to forget Mabel's kitchen (my cool grandma.) And when your rear end explodes you can call my mot her. She is a gastroenterologist in town! Dr. Celeste Taylor.

Editor's Notes: Robertos also makes superb tortillas, which are sold in grocery stores throughout southern NM. Of course, you can't beat buying them fresh! Also, last time I checked, Robertos sold the raw ingredients (chile, masa, and husks) for you to make your own tamales at home. You cook your own turkey, chicken, or tofu ;-) at home, go to Robertos for the rest, and spend a pleasant day rolling tamales! --Ron
