Their Electrical Engineering/Physics Department has a homepage that contains a lot of material of interest to us lay people as well as to specialists. Their highest enrollments are in computer science, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, and physics.
New Mexico Tech Library in Socorro contains the finest map collection in the southwest and other outstanding scientific and technical resources. The reading room is a must-see with a unique Holly Hughes sculpture of a mule's head (the Tech mascot is a miner's mule) made from the high-tech leftovers of Tech's engineering labs.
