Nothing beats the Bobcat Bite for Green Chile Cheeseburgers. The place is very small (seats about 18), sparsely decorated, and kind of out the way, but they have the thickest, juiciest GCCBs in the world. Its on the Harley tour, so twice a year there's a three hour wait to get in. Last time I was there (several years ago, unfortunately), I sat at a table next to Sam Sheppard and Jessica Lange. The Bobcat Bite is located about 5 miles north of Santa Fe on the northbound frontage road to I-25. Its easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled.
As a former northern and southern New Mexico resident, I long for the obligitory Hatch Long Greens piled on top of burgers, steaks, or just about anything else!
