I have been to this restaraunt several times now.(Probably around 15 times over a few years) The last time was about 2 years ago but I have heard f rom reliable sources that things have not changed. The food is Southwestern/New Mexican/Mexican hybrid. The basis for the menu is derived primarily from Mexican food. I have had a different entre every time and state with no reservation that there is not a bad choice on the menu! The atmosphere is relaxed in the early evenings and slowly picks up the pace toward night. The place can really get pa cked some nights but never in such a fashion as to be detrimental to those who a re looking for a relaxed time. The feel is an upgrade on true southwestern genre . It is clean with a well laid floor plan. The price range is moderate. (If you' re from Beaumont, Texas, it's going to seem higher than your normal 3 choices. If you're from New York City; the flight to New Mexico, a rental car, two nights at a Bed and Breakfast, and the meal, is probably less than you pay for a dinner by yourself at Restaraunte Anyplace in the Big Apple) Lots of food on eve ry plate and I promise you will not be disappointed! The Tex-Mex, Mexican, New M exican, and Mexican food families have always been among my favorites and I have been to literally hundreds of these types of restaraunts. This is definately on e of, if not the best, that I have eaten at. What makes me so certain? I am a pe rson that absolutely loves that kind of food and for the past four years I have lived in Wilmington, Del.( A lot of people in these parts think that New Mexico is part of the old country!) There is Flat out no good Mexican food of any kind i n these parts. The one restaraunt that always comes to mind, out of the many tha t I really enjoyed, the one place I can really long for at the mere mention of S alsa.... is Gardunos.

I am currently a college student in Minnesota, and just thinking about this restaurant makes me hungry!! I have eaten at Garduno's dozens of times, with both family and friends. It's a great place to go anytime, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want to eat out--the atmosphere is fun and festive. But the food is definitely the best--I have never been disappointed!! It's wonderful--I eat there as much as possible!!!
