Just off the plaza in downtown Santa Fe. EVERYONE knows it so ask anywhere.
The Shed is one of the oldest restaurants in Santa Fe and is open for lunch only. They make the best enchilada sauce in Santa Fe. They serve enchiladas "stacked" which is the NM style. They're a little thin so people often order them double. They also make great soft tacos, "bowl of green," which is a green chile stew, among other things. They have menu items for people who aren't "into" mexican food as well. Nice atmosphere. Usually a wait during the summer so arrive early.

We went here based on the previous review as well as a review in a trendy local arts publication. We wwere very disappointed. We had enchiladas in red chile sauce and found them to be pedestrian, dry tortillas and flavorless sauce. It is open for dinner, not just lunch. Service was good. Limited vegetarian menu, for example, no chiles rellenos. Would definitely NOT recommend it
